In preparation for Blip Festival 2007, I started writing programs for the Gameboy Advance. Using a TV adapter, this game system is a great VJ instrument. It’s cheap and fairly easy to find!

My first applications were in the style of some of my applications for the gp2x: writing pixels to the screen. At 16 MHz this isn’t the best idea. Later I started creating sprites and tile maps and found that it’s really quite quick and currently it is one of my favorite systems to use.

Below are stills from both types of applications.
