Visuals on the GP2x
The GP2x is a handheld, linux-based, game console. Because it is linux based and ports of libraries such as SDL are available, it is a fun platform to develop for. My interest has been in developing applications for live visuals. They are generally mathematical and algorithmic where parameters are mapped to joystick controls and buttons. This allows the user to "play" the visuals.
I have uploaded a few videos to my You Tube channel showing various aspects of one of my applications. More to come in the future!
Update! - I've started posting videos to my vimeo channel where the quality seems much better.
