April/May 2006: Voltage Controlled (my collaboration with Christopher Martinez) spent a week in residency at the Experimental Television Center in upstate NY. Due to some technical difficulties at the end, we don't have much recorded from this visit. However, we learned a lot. I have applied what I learned in using analog video synthesizers to my Pure Data patches and can do a pretty good job of emulating early video synthesizers this way.
April 2006: I am creating visuals for the William Duckworth and Nora Farrell's Cathedral website. Specifically for the iPod Opera v2. This project will span about a year and the mp4's can be viewed or subscribed to by following the links at the top right of the Cathedral web site. All of the visuals are being created with PD/GEM and PiDiP. Using PiDiP, I have found that I can create more "organic" looking shapes.
